Andrew Mottram – Endurance athlete, IRONMAN and participant in the World Championships:
“As an IRONMAN triathlete nutrition and body composition is vital for me, and I’d tried a lot of coaches and dieticians with mixed results. At first I was cynical about what Ric Moylan could know about endurance sport, but the results soon spoke for themselves. I got incredibly detailed scientific feedback, some revolutionary advice and new ideas from them and now a month later the result are phenomenal; 4 lbs of fat lost, a 2% body fat drop, more energy, better training results and I feel great! Awesome service, unbelievable results.”
CLIENTS:
Guy Rhys – Valued client of Ric Moylan:
“Let’s get one thing straight, Ric Moylan is a great trainer. Anyone who has attended his fitness classes can testify. He demands 100% and he gets 100%. People puke, people swear, people sweat but no-one ever quits. Ever. Everyone respects Ric. Everyone trusts Ric. Everyone wants to work hard for him. Ric’s classes are brutal but you always come away feeling stronger, more motivated and with a smile on your face. Ric knows everyone in his class. He takes no prisoners but he cares for each and everyone of us. I wear an artificial leg and Ric has been incredible with me. He’s never once put me at risk of injury and is always ready to adapt his exercises to meet my needs whilst at the same time never making me feel that I wasn’t part of the group. He is one of Manchester’s best kept secrets. If you are thinking of being trained by Ric my only advice would be (to quote Ric himself) is to just ‘GET IT DONE!”
Reuben Berg – Owner, Berg Legal:
“Ric has trained me to climb Mont Blanc, and this year I will be competing in my 3rd London Marathon! All aged 60!”
FITNESS PROFESSIONALS:

In just a short time, Ric helped me to get to grips with how I utilised my spare time, rediscover exactly what my product is, and how to best use resources around me to spread my name, in the most effective way. His knowledge and personal experience have proven invaluable and he is a resource that you cannot do without. I would highly recommend Ric for anyone wanting to be successful in the Personal Training business”.

Fighter Training Day
After completing my FK Pro certification with Ric I jumped at the chance to be involved in the Fighter Training Day - What an amazing day, watching padwork drills, getting involved in padwork drills and fighter Tabata's - I picked up loads of ideas for my own PT clients and have already started using them. Watching Scott Quigg train and understanding how focussed and committed he is was inspirational!
I'll definitely be attending future seminars! Thanks Ric :)
Fighter Training Day
Having recently enjoyed a suspension training day run by Ric I decided to attend one of his fighter training days. I wasn't disappointed, loads of useful tips and tricks, great knowledgeable advice and a great bunch of people on the course. Really great to have Scott Quigg join us in the afternoon. He was put through a bit of a training session by Ric while we all asked questions open forum style. A really great day, thanks Ric and all those that helped out.
Fighter training day
Recently attended ric's fighter training day, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and gained lots from it, can't wait for other seminars, awesome day!
Fighter Training Day
I have just participated in Ric's Fighter Training Day and what a great experience it was. I picked up loads of great tips, not only for my classes but also for my plans as a future personal trainer. Ric's knowledge is second to none and he is only too happy to show you how to be the best P.T. you can be. Inspirational!
FIGHTER TRAINING DAY
I've learnt so much from Ric in the last few years on how to develop myself as a trainer and how to drive my business forward. After a 2 year break from the fitness industry his "Fighter Training Day" was exactly what i needed to give me the added motivation I already have to progress even further as a trainer......motivation, inspiration, knowledge and excitement are a few things I gained from this course and anyone wanting fresh ideas, an insight into a professional boxers lifesytle and a point in the right direction to a successful PT business MUST attend the next event!!
Fighters Training Day
I attended the Fighters Training Day seminar, to get an insight into the training methods of combat athletes, as I felt this would benefit my own training methods and those of my clients. Not only did I get this, my fitness was thoroughly tested and I was well and truly inspired by an appearance and talk by Scott Quigg and Ric. The knowledge and insight given into the mindset of a champion has truly left a mark on me. I will 100% be attending future seminars and look forward to them.
After only a few early sessions whilst doing my internship Ric's 'no stone unturned' attitude to training and preparation for competitions was apparent from the word go. The mentality, focus and constant strive for excellence was a genuine inspiration for aspiring strength and conditioning students like myself but also for another type of trainer who is interested in furthering their knowledge within the fitness industry. A key mentality of his is 'hard work pays off' and this is not only passed on by verbal guidance but the trust he has with helping people get hands on experience and applying text book knowledge into real life professional training. Sharing and passing on his own personal experiences through the years of dedication is another unique and helping factor which helps separate Ric from the rest of the other mentors and coaches out there.
The limits of knowledge shared and passed is not restricted to just sport specific conditioning and exercise, sports nutrition and diet planning is also a key area which helps again give Ric and his mentoring a unique twist and touch. However both the nutrition and exercise fields are still areas he shows aspiration for further knowledge whilst also keen with taking on others people ideas and findings. With this I was able to understand the passion Ric has for his work and is definitely something just as important as the education from the internship.
During my time on the internship I was lucky enough to meet and help with the preparation and training of professional boxers such as Ronnie Heffron and NPA and BNBF and professional figure model Nina Ross. Being part of the training sessions teaches you more than any text book can which is the dedication in which a successful coach like Ric puts into each routine, each set and each rep he has planned for the training. This dedication shows a clear understanding of how important that extra 1% is, in the difference of a 1st or 2nd place finish.
Mentor Program
I have only been on Ric's memtoring program for a short period of time, but have definitely benefited from it already. The one to one and group sessions always re motivate me and keep me on my toes in terms of progressing where i'm at. Ric is always there on the end of the phone or facebook whenever needed in between sessions aswell. The things i've learned so far have helped me focus more on what i really want in life... And this has been a big help in my career progression so far
Work placement/mentoring
I spent my work placement with Ric whilst in my last year of Bsc honours degree @ Salford University. I learnt so much from him not just on the fitness side of Personal Training but also on how to market myself as a business. Ric has helped me take my PT business to the next level, the help and advice he has given me has been invaluable!
Mentoring
I first met Ric in 2007, I was 21 and just starting out my career in the health and fitness industry. Despite his very busy schedule Ric always found time when called upon to help and coach me on both the training and business sides of personal training. I would recommend Ric to any health and fitness professional looking to furter their service.
