LIAM BROADY
Ric has witnessed the progress and growth of Liam Broady since first watching him play at the age of 8. Although a large part of Liam’s year is spent on tour Ric is now looking after the training needs of Liam whenever he is in the UK. Although Liam is blessed with natural athletic ability Ric is fine tuning this through a periodised programme of strength, power, speed and reaction training. Due to the severe intensity of the training Ric is helping build Liam into a warrior! After his recent success winning the doubles in the 2012 Australian open, Liam is a cert to be a champion of the future and Ric is proud to work alongside him.
FRANKIE GAVIN
Frankie Gavin became world amateur gold medallist at the 2007 championships in Chicago. He was installed as the favourite for a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. However after being unable to make the minimum required weight he turned to the professional ranks and immediately employed Ric to look after his fitness training, weight management and nutrition. Ric enjoyed a successful spell with Frankie helping him for his first 5 professional fights, all of which ended in victory.
ANTHONY CROLLA
Anthony Crolla After a surprise defeat early in his career Anthony ‘Million Dollar’ Crolla and Ric began working together with the aim of improving Anthony’s fitness and strength. Anthony has since gone on to become English Super Featherweight Champion, is currently British Lightweight Champion and recently made his debut in Las Vegas fighting on the same bill as Floyd Mayweather Jnr. Ric trains Anthony through his unique fight training system to ensure he is at peak condition every time he sets foot into the ring.
SCOTT QUIGG
Ric has been strength and conditioning and nutrition coach to Scott for the past 3 years. Seen by many as the rising star of British boxing Scott Quigg recognises the role of having the right team around him. Ric has been alongside Scott for 12 fights and the relationship they have is going from strength to strength. Ric has devised a bespoke training and nutrition plan for Scott which has so far seen him simply overwhelm each and every opponent placed in front of him.
TONY BELLEW
Tony Bellew was one of the first boxers who Ric assisted with his fitness and weight management. A former heavyweight, Tony now operates at 12stone 7lbs which is an amazing weight loss of approx 4 stones! Tony Bellew has gone on to become the current British and commonwealth champion, and was narrowly denied a world title victory in a points loss to rival Nathan Cleverly.
DENTON VASSELL
Denton Vassell is the current commonwealth champion and is vastly recognised as being one of the fittest professional boxers in the country. A former ABA champion Denton turned professional in 2006 and has gone onto a record of 18 fights without loss, winning the Commonwealth title in the process.
CRAIG WATSON
Although probably best known for his victory over Matthew Hatton, Craig Watson has won commonwealth titles at 2 different weights, as well as also winning the British title. Born and bred in Manchester, Craig regularly seeks help from Ric for weight management, and rehydration after a boxing weigh in.
RONNIE HEFFRON
Ronnie Heffron is the most recent addition to Ric’s growing stable of fighters. After recognising a potential need for increased strength Ronnie has turned to Ric for help and guidance. After recently completing his first training camp with Ric in his team, Ronnie Heffron is a big prospect for the future.
CRAIG LYON
Craig is the current English bantamweight champion and is the latest fighter to be trained by the legendary Ricky Hatton. With this in mind Ric looks after all aspects of Craigs fitness, and rehydration before his fights.
SCOTT JENKINS
Scott lives and trains his boxing in Sheffield and is tipped as a hot prospect for the future.
RYAN BURNETT
Ryan is the golden boy and rising star of Irish boxing. After winning the multi nations championships, achieving silver at the junior world championships, Ryan went one better winning a gold medal at the junior Olympics. Now aged just 19 Ryan has signed for Team Hatton and will be trained by Ricky Hatton personally. Ric has been asked to look after all other aspects of strength and conditioning and nutrition for Ryan Burnett.
LEE GREEN
Lee has won Kickboxing titles at Britsh, Commonwealth, European and World level and is the head trainer of the ‘Higher Level’ system of Martial Arts. Lee entrusts the strength training of all his fighters to Ric. Lastly, Lee is son to the legendary Ronnie Green.
TOMMIE McCORMICK
Fighting from the reknownd ‘Wicker Camp’ Tommie McCormick is another fighter from Sheffield who chooses to travel across to Manchester to seek the guidance of Ric. Tommie is the current Iska European and commonwealth champion and a firm favourite to win a world title in the future.
MARK SKEER
Mark fights out of the well know ‘Salford Muay Thai’ club. Ric has assisted Mark with both strength and conditioning and nutritional guidance for 2 years. This period has brought not only numerous victories, but also numerous titles including the English title.
ADAM ETCHES
Adam Etches is born and bred in Sheffield and boxes from the world famous Brendon Ingle gym. This gym has produced numerous world champions including ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed, Herol ‘Bomber’ Graham and Johnny Nelson. Taking this into consideration it pays testament to Ric’s capabilities that Adam regularly chooses to travel over to Manchester for nutritional guidance, and fitness testing from Ric.
NAOMI BROADY
Naomi Broady is the other half of ‘Team Broady’ who along with brother Liam are making huge progress in British Tennis. After winning the under 18 UK title Naomi is now ranked no 5 in Britain amongst the women. Although she is often in various countries around the world Naomi will regularly seek out Ric for strength, power and speed training in between her participation on the world tour.
KILROE TUG OF WAR
After a first defeat in ten years Ric was given the task of returning Kilroe to their former glory by looking after their strength and conditioning and nutrition. The following season, after 4 months of hard work, Kilroe regained their place as UK Tug of War champions.
